Colorado

We used Simla with our batch of meat birds. All I know is if you have a large # you need to make a reservation in advance, especially if it is during his busy season (right after county fairs).

Did look at Rural King for a metal rabbit cage last winter, seems to me it was less than Big R, but then you have to add shipping.......

Great prices on the corn for sure, I am not buying a laying mix at the moment, waiting until my laying flock picks back up, only getting an egg a day from seven layers. :(

Do you mean the Van Zeoren's (sp), they are located in Simla, and have been there vor years. ETA Simla Frozen Food Locker.

Yesterday my little guinea pig of whom I took care of for 3 1/2 years got sick and passed away on my lap later that night.

I'm having trouble finding some information for El Paso county regulations on providing shelter for horses. Does anyone have any helpful info on that, or know of a number to call?
I've spoken to one person and she said there is no law, and no requirement for shelter. Then two weeks later, I was told of course shelter is required.
I would think, for colorado weather, shelter is necessary, but I could be wrong.

I don't know about the laws, but something to cut the wind is nice. I am not a fan of stalls, I think they are unnatural. Just a three sided something that they can use if they want is just fine. (My opinion of course.)

I'm sorry about your loss. We loved our GPs. It's hard when they die.

I know our 4H leader takes her turkeys there and so did a friend of ours last year. For chickens they are $3/bird. Not sure on the turkey price.

I did a quick search and couldn't find any info on the horse structure. Best bet is to call animal control. They are the ones that will be enforcing the rules.
