I have a few pictures to post, hope no one minds. There are three Silkies and a Mayahn we call Opus, all hatched between late October and late November.

The Silkies are sired by a Catdance male (out of a lavender hen sired by a black split to lav cock) and the mother(s) are either a splash or buff with dark head hen from Shyscreations.

Hatched 12/6/13 pretty sure EExMarans

Ugh they got out of order - this one hatched 11/24/13

Hatched 10/28/13 - we call her DJ - her mother has to be the Splash we named Daryl and this youngster looks just like her only a bit smaller

Thanks for making my day! They are just tooooo cute! How can they find their food with all that poodle fluff????
I actually had to trim the feathers away from and below the eyes of the one hatched 11/24, we stood and watched it stand over the food cocking its head one way and then the next but not eating, and I figured it couldn't see the food, so trimmed feathers away from eyes and it started eating!

I would be so worried they would not be able to find the food and water, or the perch at night! They sure are cute though!

The black juvenile Mayahn I posted pictures of yesterday will need a new home, it is male I am almost certain, and I don't have a good place to put him here right now. He is posted to Craigslist for $5 but I will gladly give him to anyone here for free. He is very sweet tempered, housed with Silkies right now with no issues.
