I think she is saying the EE are pullets and the polish is a roo? Aren't those pretty big waddles on that polish for that age? I have two 9 week old polish birds and they have zero waddles. One of mine is kind of spiky compared to that one though, so maybe I have a roo? .
Oh, now that I re-read that, I see. I read it as they were all roos. That makes sense now. I think I saw the craigslist ad and it had a gold laced polish too. It was obvious that one was a roo but this one is still questionable in that pic. Like I said, it may just be the pic. Crested breeds can be difficult to sex sometimes. My beardless polish had waddles pretty early, my bearded ones have negligible ones to this day (1yr+). I'd love to see better pics of him.

So, I hatched 8 males and 2 female Cream Legbars....anyone need a boy? Adds the blue egg gene, and auto-sexing to any barred or silver laced mating.
Free...otherwise, ya know... :(

I do but I'd rather wait for your next hatch to see if I can get a girl the same age. If you still have a boy from this batch when the next one hatches and for some miracle you don't get any in your next hatch, I'll take one.
I also can't bring anymore chicks into the house. DH will kill me! He was not happy about the marans I brought home from Pozees. lol

Actually I'm pretty sure I have two pullets available. The woman that wanted 4-8 was going to take these two, but just asked if I'd keep them till feathered out, and I really don't want to do that. Give me a day or so, and I'll have an answer on the girls for you.
No one really wants 8 boys, lol, I was just throwing it out there.

Awesome. Let me know. I'll take the 2 girls and a boy. I'll have to sneak them into the brooder with the marans so DH doesn't notice. ;)
I set the brooder up downstairs and he didn't even notice them for a couple days, then one had to start cheeping. Dumb chick! ;)

8 boys, wow. I am hatching eggs with a broody, my first attempt...and hers

We have 11 of Wendell's eggs under her now. I will be so sad if I don't get at least 2 pullets from this hatch. I suppose I should just hope some hatch and not be greedy.

Indeed, I meant to say that the EE's are pullets and the Polish a roo. I placed the the EE's this morning. I'm pretty convinced the Polish is a roo, because along with the wattles, he has some spikey streamers which the picture doesn't show and has developed a robust and regular crow. He is very handsome and charming if anyone would be interested.

I figured maybe the pic just wasn't showing them clearly. A crow is a good sign, lol! Good luck finding him a home!

One of my little Cochin Cream mixes has a funky neck arch. I'm giving her the vitamin drops, how long and how often till I'll know if it's fixed?
