Someone on here was looking for SLW pullets (I think), is a few pages back...... Hope you find him a home! I will be interested in your American Bresse breedings, as I would like to add a few here to my laying flock. Thanks for bringing in this breed from GFF!!!

I would look for an Ayami FB page or the Ayami page here on BYC to post your extra Ayami's, bet you could find a buyer here, also have you posted on the Buy Sell Trade thread here on BYC? Might be worth a try too. There are seveal ads on CL Denver for the Ayami's so that might be an option too!

I noticed one of our goats was missing this morning when I threw their hay in their stall. Went around back to look for her and could hear her calling. I found her in the run my friend's chickens use. I have no idea how she got in there. It's inside our chicken run, which was locked, and a fence separates the two runs. She couldn't get out so I don't know how she got in. I had to go in and pick her up over the fence. Good thing it wasn't too cold last night since she must've been locked in there all night. Only thing I can think is she ran in there while I was fixing the chicken door last night and I didn't see her.
I also didn't notice the DD didn't put my friend's 1 chicken away that refuses to go through the door. Walking around back to look for the goat I see her out and also notice raccoon tracks in the snow. It's amazing how they know there is a chicken out. I haven't seen raccoon tracks at all until today. At least it verifies what killed the last chicken. I'm glad we predator proofed that run!

I finished the second automatic door for the second coop. Just waiting for it to get warm enough with no wind to install it. I also finished another bucket feeder for my birds. Hopefully they don't waste too much of it. I have a feeling we'll be going through a lot more food this winter than we do in the warmer months when I can ferment.

Weird on the goat, must be she ran in there while you dealing with the door. We have been quiet on the coon front right now, hope your friends girl figures out she needs tone in the coop! Also our girls have been pigs in this colder weather, we are blowing through food as well. Definitely notice a difference once I stopped fermenting.

What a beautiful day today. I got the second door installed, though both doors didn't work tonight. :/
Put the new feeder out for the chickens, the heated bowl for goats, and the chicken cam!

Here they are getting ready for bed. The cool thing is I can access this camera from anywhere and move it too so I don't always have to look at the nest boxes or roosts. I can even sort of see the run a little.

My PR is the nearest to the camera. Her pattern looks a lot prettier in the IR light of the camera than in person. Same with the Welsummer next to the SLP.

Very cool, which camera did you end up getting. Unfortunately I would need one that would transmit around 100 feet. I have definitely thought about doing this as the new greenhouse structure now blocks my direct line of sight of my coop.

I got the Tenvis wireless IP camera. So far I'm pretty happy with it. Our coop is over 100ft from our house. I had to put a wifi extender near there to boost our wifi signal out there since our router is in the basement, but if you have strong wifi out there, it will work. You just need power.

Here's the one I got.

I also have one on our puppies. :)

Oh I wish I could have cameras but if I put in one of the coops I need 6 more for the other coops and maybe 1 more for the horses and one for the host and cow, I think I better be a good girl so Santa will give me some.
I think my husband finally gave up on the idea that I will ask for permission every time I add animals

trsturself: I was talking to my husband about the possibility of us exchange pet sitting and that how we feed our animals similar and he say.
'POOR HUSBAD MAYBE I NEED TO CALL HIM AND GO DRINK SOME BEERS WITH HIM " I tough was really funny.

That's funny! I read that to my husband and he smiled. I think he is at the same point. We only have 2 coops right now but we've only lived here for 5 months! lol
Once the puppies are gone I'll move their camera out somewhere, I think I'll try to find somewhere I can see the goat area and a bit of the horses. I won't be able to put it anywhere I can see all of the horse area and the goats, but I'm more concerned with the small animals anyway.
