It's a balmy 3 degrees here right now. At least the sun will be out for a while today.
I need to shovel some paths, but I think I'll wait until the sun is a little higher.

The UPS driver got stuck in our drive that is unplowed, my BF and I both cannot shovel due to our disabilities. Anyway, not so good for the driver, he ended up on our leech fields and sunk up to his wheels. He called a tow company who came out and told him UPS didn't have an account and they had too many other calls to deal with. It has been comical, he called his supervisor, so thee are three people trying to dig him out. Oh the joys of winter!

Another reason I'm glad our septic is in the enclosed backyard...lol
I wrote on my neighborhood website yesterday to see if anyone knew a for hire person to clear my driveway. A woman wrote and told me to call her husband, and I thought awesome a neighbor has a plow on his truck. Nope. After three minutes of talking, I was asking about price and needed to know if he had a snow blower or plow, he said, a shovel. And I refused to let him come do that. The driveway is 325ft...

We have around six inches, thankfully the sun is out, so will warm up some today...... looks like this snow "event", is upslope, so we are not getting as much as the front range.

Hope the UPS man got out of your driveway!!!

Our dogs refuse to go out, Min Pins, unless you put the out!!!! They are practically naked with very little fur, so can understand their reluctance!

Not going to truly warm up til Sunday, and then only in the mid 20's! Yikes!!!

Bummer on the eggs getting to cold to inucbate, you could always sell the to him at a discount, with the understandngi that they may, or may not hatch.... he may still be interested since his bator is running!!

The people next to us are a bunch of college kids, the house is a rental, so they would be of no help. They got then tuck out, amazingly with four people and Dodge Durango with tow straps they were able to pull the truck backwards off the leech field and to the road. Didn't think they were going to be able to get it out.
