Just read that Boulder and Larimer County is under a Winter Storm Warning starting at 5pm today unti 5pm tomorrow. Said it is possible for part of Boulder County to get 10-18 inches of snow

. Praying this doesn't come true.

The Weather Channel Forecast says there is a 60% chance of 1 to 3 inches tomorrow, no Winter Storm Warning. What forecast are you looking at? I hope the Weather Channel is right!
I can't imagine another 10-18 inches of snow!

Wow, it is super windy here today!!! Have heard the forecast for the southern and central Rockie Mountians is up to four feet of snow..... really! I am more of a radio person, and that is what I have heard, can anyone confirm this! Really starting to get freaked here!!

I am thinking that the best bet with this storm is to stick your head outside and see what is going on. Upslope?=Spring!=sense of humor

I got a call from the place I reserved chicks. They are a WEEK early on one breed I wanted. OH CRAP now what to do.
Skip the chicks of that breed?
Get them knowing they will be two weeks ahead of the others I really really want?
See if they have any left from the shipment from last week of the breed I am mostly wanting?
Toss together a small brooder really fast and keep them apart from the others that are not here yet?

Haha, I've been here about 3yrs now! I mostly lurk our big girls are 2 BR, 4 EE, 1 Welsummer, and 1 GLW. Our 10 chicks are 2 Australorps, 2 Cuckoo Marans, 2 Speckled Sussex, 1 EE, 1 Ancona, 1 Iowa Blue, and 1 Partridge Rock. The one on my little guys shoulder is the Ancona.

Ok so I called and they will have all but 2 of the breeds I am wanting. Of course it is my beloved BA's they will not have until the week of the 14th.

That would mean I would have an almost three week age gap.
