Uzi, If he decided to stay, you will have to herd him into his pen, or you might end up with more than just wing in your face! Those little guys do not know their size, they think they are bigger than they actually are!

The herding thing is something we've almost got down 100%.

I think that's why my mom wants to get him a mate: so that he does stick around and he's a tiny bit easier to herd into a pen area. I read here that they are really social and will eventually go where everyone else is. I kinda hope he sticks around because the seller that's going to be in Ft. Morgan has cameo white eye 2-2.5 month old sexed chicks and I just discovered that I really like that colouring.

I'm gonna have to create a bird sanctuary here pretty soon if this keeps up in order to feed everyone!

lol, You can always make a GoFundMe page for the feathered souls that find you!

Love that color of Peafowl too!!!
That might be a better idea than trying to get all the customers who can no longer afford to go to the animal sanctuary up by where I went to high school in Keenesburg to look at my tiny angry rooster parkour off the newbie peacock!

I'm starting back to college in the fall, so that'll save me almost $1k a month on student loans, so we'll be okay if this big guy stays. As long as birds stop showing up out of nowhere. If that's a thing, hopefully it's just a yearly thing.

I had to look up a cameo white eye. I had never heard of them. SPECTACULAR is an understatement. I think they are the prettiest peacock I have ever seen.
I hope you are able to get him a hen.
I was reading up on them since the mention of different feed needed and found this interesting.
I know you probably already found this of course.

I am having a battle with winged visitors myself. NOT the good kind either. I have a yellow jacket nest that is under part of my front porch where it cracked eons ago. I have sprayed it heavily with wasp and hornet spray and yet there they are again today. I think I will silicone the crack shut. They are right by the front door.

Any thoughts on how I can kill the dirty buggers would be appreciated.

I really like that muted colour scheme for some reason. I'm going to contact the seller in a week or so if this dude sticks around that long. I would wait on getting him a companion if he wasn't so desperate to be in the middle of my chickens. I think he's lonely & I hate to see that kind of almost distress he seems to be in sometimes, pacing along the chicken pen. I'm going to buy him some game bird feed like that link suggests to make sure he gets what he needs. Work has been so demoralising that I'm kinda glad he showed up & has given me something to research. :)

We had a wasp nest under our deck, too, but I think my dad was able to get rid of it with just the regular spray. :/

I'm looking to sell a very mixed family of ducks.
A Golden 300 Hybrid Layer Duck, An Ancona, Cayuga, Runner mix and their three ducklings (less than a week old).

We have too many birds in our flock to keep the babies and I'd feel bad taking them away from their doting/protective mom. The drake I'm re-homing because he's a bit too much for my little call ducks now that he's full grown.
Message me if you are interested. I will sell them separately if I have to, but I'd prefer not to..
They're located in Parker not far from E-470 and Parker Rd.

I'm asking $50 for all 5 (or best offer, I'd really like to see them go together)
$25 for the Golden 300
$15 for the Mixed drake
$6 each for Ducklings

Uzi,

Poor fellow pacing and panicking. I sure hope he sticks around for you. He sure is pretty and surely needs you.
The wasps are under the concrete extension that is cracked off on my front porch. It is like they simply added onto the existing front step when they made it and did not do the proper bracing. I used like half a can of spray in the crack and trying to aim toward where they were going under there. Nasty thing to have as a surprise when stepping out barefooted to move the water. Not fun to step on one.

I know nothing about getting rid of was wasps, but have read if you paint the ceiling of your porch sky blue, they think it is the sky???? Not sure how accurate that is......but seems to work! http://www.studymode.com/essays/Does-The-Color-Of-Paint-Deter-995598.html
