Colorado

nothing out here in the Brighton area yet... wind, and gray skies, but all the "dark stuff" is way to the south and west up in the foothills and beyond. Temp has dropped though... lower 40s now.

Edit: just checked the national radar loop. there's some really severe stuff training south to north out east by the KS border. Looks like the low to the west is still dropping south and hasn't even really started moving east yet.

Nothing here in Colorado Springs. Now they are saying we'll get snow Saturday but it won't stick. Honestly that sounds good to me.

My little quail are a few days short of two weeks. One was trying to take a bath in some spilled food so I put it a shallow plastic bowl with some dirt/sand from outside and some DE. Took about five minutes and a few jumped in. So cute to watch the little ones in their first dirt bath.

Woke up at 6:30 wondering about those baby chicks. So I went out and checked the brooder and there cave is 75° in their brooder looks fairly dry there's a little bit of drips here and there but overall they're looking good so I think they're going to be fine. My main concern is them getting wet at 2 weeks. They were out and about this am.
