So our babies are now 5 weeks old and fully integrated with the adults, they still put themselves away in their brooder, inside the coop. They have been outside with the adult flock since they were 5 days old. Their brooder separating them from the adults will be taken down in the next few days. Funny the babies could roost with the adults now as they have access but still segregate themselves at night. They are fully feathered and I removed their heat pad cave today as they couldn't fit under it anymore. They were a little lost at bedtime, so gave them a huddle box for comfort. They are progressing nicely, I am hoping the darker greyish one is a roo.

@Percheron chick do they look like any of their parents?

I put my money on the white being the cockerel and the other two pullets. None look like parents. The spangled got that from the GM RO. The blue got that from both and is the white splash?

The OEs are the 2 in the back with brown heads and blue bodies. Daddy rooster is in the front.

Totally see that now with your pictures, plus I was looking at them last night and the white one has a different head shape than the other two as well as what looks like the beginning of a row of peas on the comb. I can totally see EE hens being the mamas based on their coloring and feather pattern. What breed is the roo again, Araucana? I don't see a rump based on the angle of picture.

Hello fellow colorado chicken keepers, anyone interested in a little red fizzle rooster. Unfortunately not allowed roosters
