Colorado

Well, I must say we are sorely disappointed with this storm thus far. Everyone North of the metro area got all the snow... we're getting all the wind and very little snow.

We need our hay to grow so badly this year as we won't be able to pay for someone else's that we need this moisture to get it started.

Here's hoping for it to pick up overnight.

Chirp if we could get it down to you somehow, It'd be there! We have plenty to spare

Over a foot down and still lightly falling. Poor girls were "cooped up" all day litterally.

Hard to say how much we got here. Some spots are bare , other spots have about 4ft drifts. Big drifts at the snow fence. No traffic on the road yet. Means it's blocked and the plow hasn't come through yet. Can't wait to shovel snow when the plow blocks our drive. At least the pastures will get a drink. Last year we were overrun with grasshoppers from such a dry spring.

Pueblo West here... at least 6 inches if not more. AS you all said, hard to tell with the drifts. My kiddos (and chickens) are tired of being cooped up. Will have to go out and shovel out the coop door sometime this morning to check on everyone.

My little ducks are mad there is snow in their brooder, but they are fine. The big ducks are refusing to come out of the hutch. They are usually waiting for me at the pen gate.

Haha- I went out to check on them and got the evil eye from all 8.... the "What are you thinking leaving us out in this kind of weather? You think that heat lamp and oil heater count for warmth?!"

They were indoor chickens until it warmed up the last few weeks. This was their first night out in the "real" cold.

They were still happy, hunky, dory to eat and drink some fresh water.... with their backs to me!

Starting to clear here. Can't tell how much snow we received either with all the drifts. We had to dig the geese out of their pens earlier. All are okay but pens and houses drifted over.

Needed the moisture but sure could have done without the wind. Everyone stay safe and warm.

about a foot here in the southern part of the city. Pretty good job plowing this time, most of the bigger neighborhood streets are already starting to dry out. About to head outside and take the tarp off my half completed coop.
