anyone else planting this weekend? I checked the forecast for the next 10 days and it's claiming no frost...should i trust it and keep some protective sheets at the ready? Or shoudl I still wait some more?? What do you think?

I have stuff out already. I have the plastic sheets handy

Hey, does anybody around here have a male reeves pheasant they would sell? I had one, but he all of a sudden started limping and refused to try to live after that. My 4 hens have started laying and I would like to get them covered.

plant away but keep the sheets/tarps handy. another light frost is still possible but probably not a killing one. i have lettuce, onions, cabbages, broccoli, and peas out of the ground. planted a second round of lettuce, some more broccoli, and some different squashes (all from seed thankfully) last weekend. it looks like the stuff out of the ground survived the snow OK. the stuff that i just planted was probably helped by the rain/snow that we received. will be a while until the ground dries out enough to allow me to plant more. didn't get the potatoes in before the rain/snow.

A guy who bought a bunch of duck eggs from me has quail. I am going to get some A&Ms from him. He also has browns. I will email him if you want.
