Colorado

Hi Rosemary, how are the birds? I bet they are really growing. Let me ask my husband but we have wheat. How much do you need? I will get back to use as soon as he comes in from the current snow storm. I am sure it is doing something up where you are at. Only in Colorado can it be 78 yesterday and snowing the next.

Hiya, Nancy! The little Jaerhon flock is doing frabjously~thanks to you, their first foster mom, of course...their 2nd foster mom here at my place, a dear old EE hen, is keeping good track of them. They ride around on her back, lol, and love to fly up on my shoulder when I kneel down at the pen door to fill their bowls.

I didn't know you guys raise wheat. Very cool. I don't need tons, but a few hundred pounds for kitchen and flock use would be great! Wheat and brown rice are the staples of my chicken's diet.

If your storm comes my way, I'm running away from home, for sure. You keep it up north!

Rosemary, I am so glad that the flock is flourishing. We do have some wheat we can sell. Give me a PM and we can talk details. I don't know about you but we had a killer freeze last night and it is going to be lean on the alfalfa for the birds.
