This one we purchased from Coopa Cabana. She is soooo pretty! We call her Genevieve.

This is the silkie

Congrats on the new babies!!! I think I see Aimee from Manifestedwings.com standing by the red checked tablecloth!! So everyone just parks their car and then sets the birds on the ground by the cars or is there a specific "viewing" area? Was there quite a few people?

As far as I could tell there was several facilitators there telling you where to park and collecting fees. There was also four ladies there from the "lets make sure every bird here has avian flu and pnuemonic plague and leprosy so we can get rid of every bird in the nation that isn't on tyson's farms" agency taking samples and such. But, as far as placement of birds and such went you put them on the ground, or the back of your truck, or wherever. it was kind of hard to see some peoples birds because they had them in the backs of their trucks with toppers on but it went good I thought

was kind of funny watching certain people walking around holding four or five birds in each hand upside down by their feet!

This was my first swap - and I'm still trying to get that image out of my head - not something I'm used to, and not really something I want to get used to. I know I'd be much less (probably not at all) upset if I raised meat birds, but it's hard to watch when all you raise is ornamentals. I just keep reminding myself that that is the nature of the poultry world.
