My mom just retired from Paulino Gardens and most of the perennials should be 40% off. That is where I got my mock orange and he is very happy. They have superb plants. They may be a bit more expensive but you get quality. Good luck.

x2 I have tried to find information on that show and can find nothing. I will go searching online again later tonight when I have more time. You would think they would be putting out some sort of premium book/rules or some sort of information about entering somewhere. We must just be missing it.

I have an email which contains the catalog and entry forms for the rmff show. I can forward if any one is interested just send me your email address. Should be a great time.

I have a mock orange bush. Beautiful and has thrived a long time thru all kinds of weather and neglect. If you want to try to start some from cuttings, let me know.

Here is a link I found for the Rocky Mountain Feather Fancier's show with a little more info:
http://danverclub.webs.com/apps/calendar/showEvent?calID=3505293&eventID=97045114
Scroll down to Oct. 23 and click on that date to get the full text.
I spoke with Brenda Strong about selling at the show. They rent cages for $3.00 that will fit about two birds in it, you can replace the birds as you sell them with other birds from your own cage (which you might keep in your vehicle I guess).

Hey, thanks Alpine! However, if you have the fruit from the bush it would be even better

we tend to be rather hard on plants we plant, but we are great with seeds

And I have a great method (at least it reads like a great method) for getting the seeds to be planted with a minimal amount of effort

For local folks---I have 7 bantam cochin chicks available. $2/ea There are: 3 females--a black mottled and 2 of mille fleur variety and 3 males--1 black mott, 1 blue mottled and a mille fleur variety. Then one more chick who hatched 4 days ago, don't know gender but both parents are mille fleur coloring. These just don't fit into my color plans for mille fleur cochin breeding or some are extra males.

Sackman - I want them!!! I am trying to get a mottled (especially blue) breeding pen going and having terrible luck with shipped eggs. I guess I need to know where you are before I commit, though - I'm in Elizabeth.
