Hi there from Colorado Springs. I am new to chickens, but I have be perusing backyardchicken.com for a few months now. We just finished our coop, and we are going to pick up two hens tomorrow morning. We are getting a black australorp and a golden-laced wyandotte. I am so excited!

I have a couple of Golden Wyandottes and they are the prettiest girls ever. My neighbors have 2 boys about 8 and 10 years old. They were over looking at my chickens one day and spotted the two Goldens. "Those are the most beautiful chickens in the world!" they both said. Farm boys! Good taste in chicks.

Hey All! Just wanted to let you know that I'm entering a pair of my self-blue bantam cochins in the RMFF show this Saturday. Is anyone else planning to be at the show...I'd love to meet up with other BYC members.
