Hi all! We live in co springs and just got 4 baby chicks yesterday. Our coop is just about done. Our kids are lovin the chickens (Velma, Elmo, Nugget, and Dipit). Should be a fun adventure!

I have a pair of pet quality silkies available for $20. They will be a year old in May. He is a light blond buff, has a prominent red comb, breeding & crowing. She is an unusual blue partridge & currently laying. Figured these would be best sold locally. They are not of quality for someone to spend on shipping though if a buyer wants I can ship.

Also have a couple bantam cochin chicks and 2 Splash Copper Maran/bantam cochin cross chicks, these are $4 each.

Anybody else getting a nosefull of the smoke from Golden's Fire? The wind just changed and its now going over our neighborhood. THought with the lesser wind, it would go down....I hear folks talking in the Golden Library who'd been warned of evac.....man, what a time for them

Ok, here's pics of the chicks available. 1 silver lace bantam cochin unsexed; 3 black mott split to mille fleur bantam cochin (1M & 2F) and littleest is a cross of my black mott cochin roo on a splash copper maran hen....this one will be a blue color. All go at once for $20 If someone is interested, I find it easiest to meet at the Golden Feed Mill in Golden.

This is the town where you can see people riding horses down the main drag at any given moment, but chickens are banned. Morons.
