I rescued a boxer mix today. She is a neglect case. Severe neglect. She needs to gain 15 pounds before she will have normal weight. She has a sweet nature is good with cats and kids and probably good with dogs as she is currently in the middle of my 5 dogs without any issues so far. She needs to be spayed and is about 2 years old. She is current on vaccines till August 2013. I need a home for her. There wont be a fee for her adoption but she will go on an adoption contract. Conditions of adoption will be proof of spay and completion of an approved basic obedience class. She is a very pretty dog with a short glossy black and white coat. I would post pics but her emaciated condition may be disturbing to some people. PM me if anyone is interested in learning more about her or wants to see pics.

Just moved to the Fort Collins area, got internet today at last! It has been a couple of weeks or longer with the craziness of the moving since I was on. We managed to find a rental that allowed chickens so our three pet bantams are happily ensconsed (sp?) in a temporary 'coop'. Our campershell from the truck

I was amazed at how little trouble they were while travelling across the country! Our dog was much more high maintenance

So glad to be back in Colorado - especially with all the tornadoes out in the Carolinas etc at the moment. We had a crazy trip across the US with nasty weather almost the whole way! Am still tired ...
