What do they charge for the higher protein for 50lbs?

I think its around $15/bag. I use the same Manna Pro Gamebird/showbird and its been a positive difference on the birds feathering, egg quality, chick survival. I wouldn't go back to Purina.

If you think that's bad, the prescription dry dog food the vet put my dog on after her surgery this summer is also corn based. It just went up to $59 for 27.5# - Yes, I said $59 for 27.5# - and that's at Petsmart.

Wow, I'm sorry but that's just a little much for corn based dog food.

So you two both use the MP Game Bird? Is it crumble or pellet? I'm just afraid that they'll not eat that either. But I know the Walker's said she thinks Purina is junk but it's hard to know when they're selling something different. I guess I'll see if the Co-op has MP so I don't have to drive down there. Thanks you two for your help. This has me baffled as to why they're so picky. I guess they're so used to Purina...

I use crumble but started mixing in pellets too. I won a bag of the pellets at Feather Fanciers show and have mixed it with crmble for the adults. There's less "powder" & waste with the pellet but for youngsters its just too large. The coop in Brighton does carry MP Showbird.
