I got mine from Ideal, kiowa country corner, elizabeth country corner and O'malleys mercantile. Unless I'm wanting something that one of the other places won't have, I'll just stick to the feed stores from now on. That way I don't have to deal with the anxiety of shipping the chicks.
 
You were still able to get the Ameraucanas? That is great! I am waiting for the 11th for that reason. I am also getting a Silver Laced Wyandotte, but I am getting a California White as my third.

I saw on their website that May 11th Ameraucanas were sold out, so I was planning to wait until the 18th to get them. When I called, they said that they still had some available after all.

I'm sure time will fly. They'll be here so soon!
 
Can anyone offer a recommendation for an automatic chicken door? We are headed out for a trip in may and I can't have the girls stuck inside the entire time as the flock has grown.

Any recommendations?
