Colorado

I'm not sure what it would be worth, but it's beautiful, which is weird to say about a coop. The cool thing is anyone could change the color scheme real easy, and make it blend anywhere. With that in mind don't let anyone under cut you on the price.
Hopefully you can work something out with the HOA and won't have to get rid of anything.
Good luck.

Is there anyone who needs about 40lb of medicated starter/grower? I was told I would need it until they laid eggs but I keep getting told that was bad advice.

Minchi, saw you asking on the OT thread. In case you haven't read Fred's last post to you, it will probably make you feel better.

Everything I have read on other threads addressing this (including the OT thread) said go ahead and finish out the medicated starter you have and then change over to either the grower or layer, depending on what stage your birds are at. If you switch to grower and your girls start laying, all you have to do is finish out the starter and offer oyster shell on the side, and when you're through with the original grower, either continue grower with the oyster shell, or switch to layer at that point. All your birds are the same age (?) so they should all be at the same POL or close enough not to matter.

Just passing on what I have read. Lord knows I have no personal experience in this.

ETA: had to finish my thought about Fred's post

4x5 Chicken coop with double nest box and outside access
4 - large windows with screens for plenty of ventilation
2 removable perches inside coop
3 removable perches outside coop
30# feeder
6 pack of water nipples
2 - 2 liter water bottles w/ nipples
3 hanging flower pots
1 wind chime
2 - solar party lights

Pullets (15 weeks old)
2 - Blue Andalusian
2 - Welsummer
2 - Buff Orps
1 - Ameraucana
Chickens.....$70.00 Coop size....$500.00......all the add-on extras....$400.00..... My thought would be $1000.00 for a take away price..as it sits! And I'm a cheapie! All my coops have been built with reclaimed materials.

i definitely wouldn't go less than $1000. Someone might even be willing to pay about 1650. Its a nice set up with alot of work put into it all

WOW, I'm a cheap person who thinks EVERYTHING is overpriced. I couldn't afford it, and its smaller than what I would want, but if it fit my needs and I could afford it, I'd gladly pay $1,300-$1,500 for that baby.

(Delivered onsite of course, LOL)

I guess I'm in the $1,200-1,300 camp. It's awesome, but the new owner is going to have a heck of a time moving it if it doesn't break down into "parts"... thinking gates, fences, regular truck or trailer... 12' is pretty long. Try craigslist just to see if there are any bites. Just because somone shows interest doesn't mean you have to sell... just test the waters.

My 2 cents

Mo
