Canning, Canning Canning. Today its........14 day sweet pickles, basil jelly, and another case of peaches. Also starting a crock of Deli Dills. I'm tired of jelly, so looking for something quick and easy. I'm thinking peach halves. Those fill a jar and go through a case quick, LOL.
Tomorrow Gingered Beets.
Yesterday, or was it the day before, it was B & B Pickles, Peach BBQ Sauce, Vanilla Extract & a small batch of dills.
Did I say I still have a case of peaches (SIGH), and another 10 lbs of Cukes.
THEN, I get to rest until all my tomatoes come in. And can the squash I have.
I know this isn't the canning thread, but ya'll can sympathize I'm sure. And I don't have to compete with the experts there, who I actually had to ask to define how much a 'bunch' of dill was. I'm such a novice and hate asking for help.
I've been up at 8 am and to bed no earlier than 3 am for the last 4 days. YAWN.
