Colored Egg Breeders Thread

I FINALLY have some Ameraucanas!!!! 1 or 2 pure ones and an Ameraucana mix. They just hatched yesterday.

Dang I’ll check it out that’s a heck of a combination. I hatched some chicks by accident a couple years ago off of a huge Brahma Cochin mix and ee’s but I sold them before they grew out.
You'll love the project.

My boy was 24 inches tall, weighed 15lbs.

I have a GQF incubator and been hatching my barnyard mixes for a couple of years.
Last month the hubby bought me some Lavender Americauna hatching eggs. I was very excited to have 18 chicks hatch! It's the expected mix of black and various shades of gray. What was UNEXPECTED was the crazy 'flippy' feathers on 4 of them!
Are these frizzles? Americauna frizzles?

GOODNESS SAKES! LOOK AT THOSE CUTIES! must be a weird gene that makes them frizzled.

To be honest I’m not really sure. I don’t have any experience with frizzles but I am interested to see how these turn out
