these are our 2 new Araucana chicks - in Australia the breed characteristic requirements are different, I think I’ve also seen them called British Araucana?

I’m hoping they’re both hens to get some new egg colours happening in our flock, but knowing my luck they’re both cockerels haha. They’re not yet 3 weeks old so I’ll have to wait and see

So many beautiful birds! I love all the fluffy beards and muffs, and the egg colors!

Thanks for the tag, @the_peanut_coop ! I love my EE, Peck!

My 7 year old was given a blue, fertilized egg at a chicken expo. If all goes well, another EE will be joining us next Wednesday! The birds they had would make it an EE over an EE, so it could be anything! Wait, is that still an EE?

I never even saw an Arauncana! Those fluffy little heads just win me over though!

I dont have many photos of my birds, and this made me realise i need to take some.. Here are a few pics of my eggs though. I have 14 hens and a Rooster, Rusty. Like most Roos, he was supposed to be a hen too, lol. I have Easter Eggers, Light Olive Eggers, Ameraucanas, Black Copper Morans, and a single Plymouth Barred Rock named Bonnie. I named her after my granny cause she was such a feisty little pullet, much like my granny, lol. I still haven't told her i named one of chickens after her 🤣 We have a favorite Lavender whoms name is Chloe, but the rest are unnamed as theyre hard to tell apart. This is my first flock. I got them in February of last year and i recently just hatched about 30 chicks from them. They're in the brooder box less than a week old. I purchased them to start selling farm fresh eggs because i fell in love with the egg colors and thought everyone else would too. Ive sold less than 10 dozen since they started laying, so its not going as expected unfortunately :( Anyways, ill get on taking pictures of my hens and roo 🥰
