Colored Egg genetics?

I am a little confused about the colored egg breeds, Such as Ameraucanas and EEs. If these are outbred to a white shell egg layer what percentage will be colored egg layers? Will the color of the offspring's eggs be duller than the Ameraucana parents? Anybody have any info on this subject?
