Yes you are correct they are mixed birds, however its not exactly the same as trying to breed two cornish cross. These are not as commercially manufactured. I dont know how the chicks will turn out as meat birds. However I feel like its worth a try with them, I doubt they will be much slower growing than my hatchery direct birds. If I could I would hatch some myself, Im having to move in a couple months and don't want to be hatching a bunch of chicks and then having to sell them last minute.
I am offering eggs of one dozen then after that as many as I can get in a couple days. I only have 10 pullets and some are just starting to lay. To sell the dozen i sold this past week took me two and half days to get the dozen because I was trying to get the nicest sized eggs for the order.
So in a nut shell these probably won't breed true, as Cuban said. But i wouldn't pass them up as a very viable slower growing meat bird.
