It was of two sebs in a driveway (gravel) and they had their heads in their wings......I just used it for prettyness on my home computer...but its gone now

Miss prissy u used a surefire g2 to candle it looks like u wrapped the end with something. What? Will it work with maran eggs? I bought the extra bright bulb. I love that flashlight.
 
I don't know any candling that can see in marans eggs.

I wrap the tip in several layers of flannel with a tiny hole in the center.
 
I wrap the tip so the light can be directed into the egg. Unwrapped the light leaks and you have a greater chance of clunking an egg and breaking it.

I dont want to get TOO off topic from Mss Prissys thread. So let me just say that I use the COOL LITE egg candler on marans (and all my eggs) and it does a decent job on the dark brown and dark blue eggs! You cant see early development, but you can tell if an egg is progressing or not. I just looked and McMurray carries it.

I have been all over those eggs with a flashlight this morning! LOL No pips yet. I really don't expect any before evening.
