Colorpack question

I'd love to see pics of yours if you get a chance to post any- EE babies are ADORABLE, especially if they have a muff or beard.
Ok! Here are pics. She does have a muff and beard. We call her 'The Owl' but her real name is Vanilla. (At least, I sure hope she's a girl!)

Oh my goodness, she is REALLY adorable! I love that she seems to be keeping that owlish face coloring that she had as a chickie! She still looks pretty pulletish to me, (I don't see any wattles or comb yet, and I'd think you would by now, unless it was a very slow developing roo.) Here are pics of my little EE "owl" when she was a chick and now. We called her Hedwig after the owl in Harry Potter, as I couldn't think of any famous barn owls.

Aww! So cute! Hedwig is a great name. I think you are right, that she looks like a girl.

OMG. That is ADORABLE!!!! Little dinosaur! I love the squinting pic, she looks so crabby! ;-) I'm jealous yours has such amazing hair already, I just looked up mine's age, she's about half a week younger and still working on feathing out. (Also slightly worried mine might be a cockerel too, as 'she's' got as much comb as yours already, if not more.) I'd love to keep seeing pics as yours grows! Thanks for the share!
Yes, she’s a puddle in my hand! Single combs grow faster than other combs. It’s more of the color of the comb when you should be concerned. I wish I knew what she was mixed with. Crested Cream Legbar and...? I contacted the company and they wouldn’t tell me the secret.

Aww, yours has got a great Mohawk already. Looks a lot like my Color Pack who’s about 3.5 weeks, but doesn’t have as fabulous of hair as yours.
Here’s a new pic! How’s yours looking?

I got a bunch of Color Packs last fall from my local farm store. Some of them matured to have little half poofs on their heads like they had some Polish blood in there somewhere. Mine were good layers of greenish eggs. They were fall chicks and started laying in Jan. I can't tell you how they would have progressed as they all got killed by a bear :(

Once again, mine is still behind yours in amazing party poof hair development. But, still the sweetest chicken I’ve ever raised. I want ten more of her!
