Oops...sorry, guess my eyes aren't working this morning.
I made a comment on a thread a few days back about the use of abbreviations leading to some confussion, at least on my part. Apparently my point of view was not shared by many, and at least one moderator. This one had me scratching my head too, but then again, I may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer.
Agreed, Its like some of the people who are selling olive eggers now are titling there auctions as something like 12+ OE eggs and when I see the abbreviations OE, I think Old English game bantams. So putting the abbreviations as the titles can lead to confusion and may cost them buyer if a person misinterperates what is being sold. But thats not what this thread is about.
So to the OP, if you are wanting to breed with those two EE hens, they are carrying Dominant white and I dont see any black spots so I'm guessing they may be Homozygous for dom white so if you were to breed them to the Slash laced roo, I more or less buff laced chicks or maybe just pretty close to the same color as the mom. And assuming that shes masking black under the dom white, then here chicks would be masking blue under their white from having a splash father. And if he happens to only be heterozygous for dom white then half of the chicks would be visually blue laced gold and and the other half would be the buff laced color masking blue under the white.
And breeding him the the barred rock hens you would get sexlinks with the pullets being blue and the roos being blue barred. They should also have rose combs.
Where there any other hens you were wanting to use or just the EEs and BR ?
