What colour combinations do you need to make a lavender Pekin Bantam? We have a black Cockerel, a black hen, a blue hen, a white hen and three Buff hens.

Hi and welcome to BYC from northern Michigan

You have to have birds carrying the Lavender gene. Do a search for lavender cochins, there is a thread that has that information.

Both above posts are correct. Your bird must be carrying the lavender gene which you can learn a lot about in Breeds,Genetics,Showing.
