Coloured egg May hatch-a-long

I am down to 12 eggs and some of those are questionable. I took 8 that I am pretty sure are good and put them in my incubator. I left my broody with 4. Not sure what I will do since I should be getting eggs this week and my incubator will be full with what I am getting and the ones I need to hatch for someone else..... But not sure I want to give these ones to my broody before lockdown... Hoping some make it

I candled yesterday. Most of the green eggs didn't make it. They either quit or weren't fertile. I've never had so many quitters.
But I have 21 eggs left. I've got 2 brown eggs (I know, cheating on the hatchalong), but I've also got 3 prairie bluebells, as I've mentioned before.

I checked the 8 in the incubator and they were all moving around. Phew

I checked the 4 I left with my broody. 1 quit, 1 I saw veins still but couldn't tell on movement and the other 2 looked good. So hopefully have 11 still going.

Checked last night and today and my 11 CCL/ice eggs are going strong. They are on day 12 I think.

I just set 8 BBS Ameraucana and 4 F1 olive egger eggs today. Thinking the oe eggs will be hard to see in since they are very dark Marans eggs. The Ameraucana eggs are more blue than they look in the pic.

Good! I think the oes will be hard to see in, the EE's were very hard to

My colored eggs are doing great! The OE eggs are too dark to really see in. Going to check again today. Those are the Ameraucana and OE eggs. My 11 CCL/ice eggs are under my broody and doing good

I have taken to not setting dark eggs unless requested for someone or I don’t have enough light ones. They are soooo hard to see in at the beginning! I have a hatch of BYM eggs going right now, along with a few Silkie eggs!

My blue/green EE eggs have hatched. It was my first try and 5 are now in the brooder. Not the highest hatch rate, but it is a start! And they are cute!

What I find funny is I set 12 of my splash Cochin girls eggs for someone this time. Their eggs are not super dark but you can barely see in them. This is a pic of one of the eggs to show the color, some are slightly darker, and what I see when I candle.
