I have 3 pullets that lay, waiting on 3 others. Here's Memorial Days total including the very first Easter Egger egg.

Indeed! If only we could add some of those to our egg basket!
Did you buy onlineor local? I bought local because my breeder guarentees gender of your choice. He will take back any wrong genders and replace with the correct one. He's been a very good businessman and breeder for me. I only buy from him so as to prevent possible disease being brought in.My eldest flock is 9.5 weeks old and the teenagers who have just integrated in with them out in the coop are 4.5 weeks old. I just received my babies today, who are now three days old!!! Originally I had wanted to just buy hens but I'm so glad I decided to buy them as chicks....they are so sweet and fun and I think raising them has really enhanced our bond as well as made them an incredibly gentle flock.
Unfortunately, most of my eldest chicks ended up being cockerels despite being sold as pullets, and the straight run teens it's too hard to tell yet (they're the pretty birds anyway mostly, silkies and polish and EE's), so I'm going to have to wait until this new crew of pullets grow up before I get my beautiful egg basket!
Drain them?My Ameraucana pullet laid this blue egg with pink speckles on it and my Easter Egger laid a gray egg. I’m going to drain them both.View attachment 1415237 View attachment 1415238 View attachment 1415239
