Colourful and Unusual Chicken Eggs!

Yon need to use a nidel or a nail.
And if you want to use physics to drain it out
do that with goose eggs and then use regular spray paint to make ornaments...

Thanks, if it was not so hard to drill through the goose eggs, I would do them every year but I stopped after the first year of doing this... Plus if you leave ANY...and I mean ANY egg yolk in the egg, you will get maggots. Not so pretty. Just to forewarn anyone doing it. MAKE SURE you have all the yolk out. I thought washing it out with bug spray would prevent it, nope... maybe more trial and error but I just never did anymore.

Thanks for letting me know that, I be extra careful not to leave any yolk in the egg next time I do this. :)

Wow!!! These colours look great! What breeds do you keep? Those marans eggs are so dark! Also Love the little eggs.
I raise silkies, seramas, cream legbars, black copper marans, lavender orpingtons, silver laced wyandottes, a partridge cochin, a rumpless dark egg laying cross, and some green egg laying (brahma× legbar) crosses. Quite the variety here, and many chicks too! :D

Sounds like a nice flock! Definitely a variety! :)
