I hope you do finish it and get it on the shelf, there needs to be something out there for people to use as a text, I've got a gazillion books and veterinary texts on equine genetics and I've been really suprised that I just can't find the same kind of things for poultry genetics. I prefer to educate myself first and avoid making mistakes, not experiment and find out what happens- but that's hard when you can't find useful texts!
