What did you do in the garden today?

Yes, but if we don't talk to each other we don't have an opportunity to see another side. We just remain in our own little bubble. That can't be good.
IRL I agree. I have read various different religions books. I believe understanding others viewpoints is important.

But byc has no politics or religion in most threads.
People have been removed after warnings.

I agree with that fully. As long as everyone is respectful and doesn’t view others differently for having a different belief from their own then I think it is a good thing to discuss it. I don’t think I can say this for all of BYC but I think the people in this thread are mature enough to know boundaries and respect others.

Also I hope that doesn’t come off the wrong way to anyone, I don’t know the rules on this so that is just my opinion about discussing it
Byc rules from years ago after tempers flared.

I picked a few more black beans yesterday and a very small handful of cherry tomatoes. Then I went up and checked on my SM tomatoes. There’s about a half dozen developing. Yay! The onions were done so I dug them up. Mini onions, wah! The worst part was when I checked my grapes. Apparently the local raccoon discovered my grapevines. They were very meticulous about picking the grapes as to not injure the vines. If I want Concord grape jam this year I will be buying the grapes. Wah! Still no rain do I’ll need to water the few things left in the ground.

🤭 I'm hoping you aren't serious because my fellow aussies will all be saying, 'yep, told ya those 'mericans are all mad.'
Oh, I'm very serious...

Side note... Several years ago, DH and I were going parasailing on Great Keppel Island on the Great Barrier Reef. There was a group of about a dozen tourists in total, but we were the only 2 Americans. They put us all in Jeeps for a rather rough off-road trip across the island to get to a secluded beach for takeoff. On the way there, the company was explaining how we would be lifted off the beach and the details of what would happen on the trip. Afterwards, the lead tour guide asked who wanted to go first... Both DH and I immediately raised our hands. We were the ONLY ones to raise our hands... One of the Brits spoke up immediately and said "ah, right... Leave it to the bloody Americans." 😂

Sounds about right.

I think a lot of us own our own portable air pumps.

Yep... I have the Craftsman version of one of these.

I bought an Acura TLX brand new a couple years ago. Ended up with a flat tire (sidewall blowout) driving down the highway. Opened the trunk to get the spare only to discover it didn't have one. Just a portable pump. I was HOSTILE that the dealership hadn't told me there was no spare. I cursed them six ways to Sunday. Whatever dealers decided to take spare tires out of the standard package should be taken out back and shot... Just saying.
