What did you do in the garden today?

Any greenstalk fans?

This is my opinion. I am not trying to offend anyone. The entire BS of the Bible is a lie to make people paranoid. Who controls EVERYTHING? Providing anyone can answer correctly I will rethink it. I know that if you ask anyone that question you will get the wrong answer.
The reason we aren't supposed to talk about politics and religion is because people have strong opinions about these issues.

The road paved with good intentions is basically a metaphor for help others and you will get paid in back in good in the return. It also might be a Bible verse however, I'm just not familiar enough to say.
I think the saying is "the road to hell is paved with good intention". Not quite the same meaning as your interpretation, lol.

Yes, but if we don't talk to each other we don't have an opportunity to see another side. We just remain in our own little bubble. That can't be good.
I agree with that fully. As long as everyone is respectful and doesn’t view others differently for having a different belief from their own then I think it is a good thing to discuss it. I don’t think I can say this for all of BYC but I think the people in this thread are mature enough to know boundaries and respect others.

Also I hope that doesn’t come off the wrong way to anyone, I don’t know the rules on this so that is just my opinion about discussing it

Which came first the chicken or the egg, now that I think about it, it has to be the chicken. Because the egg came from the chicken.

Interestingly, some scientists have tried to answer the chicken-or-egg conundrum by studying a protein called ovocledidin-17 (OC-17), which is essential for forming eggshells. Since this protein is found only in chicken ovaries, they concluded the chicken must have come first—because only a chicken can produce a chicken egg.

Therefore, from a biblical creationist perspective, yes: God created the chicken. Specifically, Genesis 1:21 says:

“So God created the great sea creatures and every living creature that moves… and every winged bird according to its kind.”

Harvested some more leaf lettuce seeds, and the first of the Romaine. The Brentwood is just starting to form stalks - the description wasn’t kidding about bolt resistance! I was starting to think I would have to buy seeds!

Also another tiny handful of peas from the second sowing; I don’t think I will get any more off of those, the few pods remaining will be left for seed (and I don’t expect much of that either). I really need to figure out a way to get more TLC to that part of the garden. 🤔

I’m 90% certain at this point that I have at least 2 melons forming; it’s been a few days and they haven’t turned yellow nor dropped off, on the contrary they’ve grown and they’re about the size of a quarter now. They’re even starting to form ridges! 🙏 for a warm fall!

Still nothing of note from the squash. 😒😔
