I have noticed that Katie jumps right back in the house when I feed the puppies and starts eating all their food even though she gets the same. Seems like she believes they should just survive off of her. I can understand that somewhat. Maybe she's not ready for them to "grow up" yet. I'm have started letting her out for exercise when I feed them (locking her out of the pen). She also gets really excited when I do my chores and does a lot of Boxer Bouncing. I'm trying to keep this from happening again. I'm keeping a close eye on her. I want to think this was just an accident but I am taking precautions. I let her see him this morning before I buried him so she would know he had died. She kissed him and said her goodbyes. It was very heart wrenching for me. I'm starting to think I care too much to be able to handle puppies...
