Comb Contest - Carnation! - Winner Announced!

I'm not sure, but would this be considered a carnation comb? It's straight with a few extra sprigs at the back on the sides.

It's hard to tell from the front. It doesn't look big enough. How old is she. A carnation comb on a hen is supposed to flop over to one side. She may have the blood of a carnation comb bird.

She was a pullet in that pic, she is a year old now. Not any specific breed either, just a barnyard chicken.

Her hatchmates had the same comb, but she is the only one I kept.

1. Quality of the photo
2. How well the comb matched the standard
