Here are the results (they were due by midnight last night...). I decided to make an "executive decision" and let ties between runners up stand; the pictures were all too awesome to choose between.

The judges thought this contest was INCREDIBLY difficult to judge. There were so many beautiful and deserving birds entered; often, there was only a one-point difference between a runner-up and a hypothetical third place.

Thank you to everyone for sharing your awesome fowl. One of the best things about this contest was seeing everyone's chickens and reading all the great stories! Thank you for participating!

Thanks so much to all who helped put this show on.
I just got my "Marty" and "Little Guy" home from the county fair last night (where they won 1st and 2nd in their classes) and now I get to tell them that their combs just won them more recognition!
