Is it normal for their combs to get floppy, or could it be a sign of illness?? My roosters stand perfectly tall but some of the hens are falling over. Mostly the black sex link and New Hampshires. Don't mind Minnie's stink eye
I'd be worried if the combs were pale and flopped over, but nice red and flopped over for a couple of breeds is very normal. Leghorns and RIRs, for example. Sex-links and New Hampshires are close enough to that stock to also sport the "Bohemian" look.
My RIR, Rhoda, has a very stylishly flopped comb. She's the envy of the less popular girls.
