comb healing?

We’re planning to take Mr Fancy Pants to the backyard division of our local chicken show in a couple weeks. Figured out these spots are from another rooster in a previous thread (thank you!!) but wondering if there’s anything I can do to speed the healing so our boy looks his best on the 25th.

Other roo joined a new flock today. They had barely interacted and I was supervising but it’s a wake up call for me how quick something can happen. From my vantage point, I didn’t remember seeing them even make contact. Other roo has some similar spots

I generally do not put anything on scabs like that and let them heal up on their own. It will take time. Very likely even if you put a bit of ointment or vetericyn on the scabs they won't all be gone or healed up in such a short period of time.
