Comb injury

I found that one of my girls has an injured comb. Not bad but there is some specks of blood on the straw. She seems fine. I’m just wondering if I need to do a topical ointment treatment or leave it alone for now. I’m not able to isolate her which I know is the best thing but it’s not possible.

I would leave it alone unless it is ripped. Make sure they are not starting to fight due to overcrowding. Pecks to the comb do happen with pecking order issues.

Thanks. I will keep a close eye on it. I have 7 girls and six nesting boxes. They have a favorite. It may have been over that.
