Comb issue... please take a look

It's not frostbite, you might want to check for mites / lice. Could be scabs from them coming out to feed on the comb..Also looks like roo marks.

It's definitely not frostbite, and it looks to be nothing to worry about; often the do flop over a bit like that. See the girls in this pic - both of their combs are a bit floppy:

I am pretty certain that it isn't frostbite. I have been checking them all very carefully since it is so brutally cold. Her comb has not frozen.

Im so glad to here that! some of mine, the bigger combed guys have gotton frost bitten this year. and it is horrible. None of the girls but some of the roos with the really big combs.

I'm lucky because my rooster has a relatively flat pea comb so he's less susceptible to frostbite than the girls! I hope I never have to deal with that... sounds awful!

Wynette, I am in love with your roo. He is positively majestic!

Hi AmyBella, some of my red sex-link girls (one of whom looks exactly like yours) have a bit of a wave to their combs, too -- it's the new style, don't you know?

Mine also have always had dark nostrils.
