Comb issue

Thanks for this. We have had these girls since they were chicks, and they are about 18 months, but this is my first go round and we are always learning! To my eyes, it does have a fungal look. Would an OTC Monistat-like product work for this?
Absolutely, OTC is always best, and cheaper. Let us know her progress in about a weeks time. It takes time for favus to completely go away with treatment.

I've never dealt with a cross beak before. However I've dealt with birds that have had cracked beaks. In order for them to eat and drink, provide a deep bowl containing feed and add water to it to make a watery gruel. I would think that a cross beak would be able to eat and drink in that manner without having to pick up feed to eat from a feeder.
