Is it normal for a leghorn hen to have a comb that folds over? We call her "Donnie" because she reminds us of Donald Trump! Is this normal?

Quite normal indeed. In fact, I think Leghorns aren't the only breed that has hens with floppy combs. However, I wouldn't call it normal if a Leghorn rooster had a floppy comb--never seen or heard of that before.

Oh yes! Mine has a very floppy comb. Leghorn ladies have bright red combs and slide-flaps. Leghorn roos usually have a huge mohawk of a comb. I love them.

My leghorn Shoshana has a big ol' floppy comb. A neighbor asked if "that one" crowed a lot. I laughed when I told her that the big white eggs come form "that one"!
