Comb Problem or Normal

Hello ..I am new to chickens and have just noticed black mark
on my 3 month old Pekin ...anybody know what it is and what I should do.

It looks like a mild case of dry fowl pox, a virus that is spread by mosquitoes. It goes away without treatment after 4-5weeks, although it can spread within the flock by flies and mosquitoes. Unlessyou get others with it near the eyes, or the wet type which can be deadly, it shouldn't be too serious.

You're welcome. If any of your chickens seems weak or especially sick from pox, look inside the beak and throat for any yellow patches that can be wet pox, which may block the airway. if there are any scabs near the eyes, I would use Terramycin or Neosporin ointment in the eyes to prevent bacterial infection.
