What does it mean and how can I help. He was adopted from a guy who kept all his roosters together in the same small pen. He had to catch him with a net because he was so skittish. As soon as I got him in the car I took him out of the crate and hugged on him and gave him kisses. He seemed so confused but not scared. I got him home and showed him all his new hens and he was immediately happy with all the freedom and ladies. I gave him scratch to shre with the hens and he again seemed to stare at me with confusio. Over time I think he realized I meant good things. He now follows me everywhere and lets me pick him up and hug him. He’s done a complete 180 he is such a good boy and I love him so much, his name is sergeant . But I see his comb changing colors from red to purple to red and I’m worried about what it means. I want him to be healthy and happy. Any advice would be much appreciated.
