Comb turning purple

I live in Houston Texas. The temps used to be as low as 40 degrees windy, but as I said, we lock up their run, so I don't think that's the case. And the temps have been heating up by about 10-20 degrees at night, so it's been getting a little "warmer". His comb is cold to the touch, though. Here's a picture:
Also, he's a rooster?

Even though you are not the OP, his comb is likely blue and cool due to lack of oxygen. It takes a lot to supply a comb like that. I don't see any evidence of Frostbite on your rooster.

(fwiw - a rooster is a chicken. a hen is also a chicken :))

Ah thank you. Also, sorry for replying although im not the OP. It was on the wrong forum.
