How do i identify comb types?

You can do a google image search for chicken comb type chart, there are a few good ones out there.

There is also this article with photos. Combs will look slightly different on hens vs. roos.

Any ideas what kind this might be? Maybe a rose comb?

Doesn't look like a rose comb. Sometimes, different comb types cross and make new, different-looking combs. If she's a crossbred, that could explain it.

If she's pure, it's probably a very odd rose comb.

She is a mix, Lavender Orpington and White Crested Blue Polish. I can’t wait to see.

So, what type of cone is this? This is a mutt chicken and not sure of parentage, but I was wondering about the cone. I looked at the BYC article on cone types but it seems to fit several descriptions...and I can get a better pic in a couple of days but right now this is the best I have.
