I recently made a post about a broody hen that I finally just gave up and bought some chicks from TSC (they are doing great). I have them in their own separate coop within the larger coop, so all my flock can socialize without fear of injury to babies.
Anyway, I have another hen (Karen Carpenter) that is broody, so I just let her have 7 eggs from the ones laid by all my other hens. Can I sneak my brooding hen and eggs into the "nursery coop" with the mama hen (G.G.) and babies (affectionately named the 6-pack for now) tonight? Karen is in the community coop, and I'm afraid she is being disturbed too much.
