Combining Fowl

We have both and are new to owning ducks this time around and have raised chickens and other animals in the past. IMO, ducks are not the best choice for people as pets without having a full understanding of their needs ( clean water and lots of it ) to keep them healthy.

I don't try to discourage anyone from having ducks, I try to educate them on the fact that they should do their homework first before getting them, they can be a lot of extra work and care involved over having a cat or dog.

We had chickens and goats and ducks, so I understand about the work. . I appreciate any and all advice!
